The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with LeapFrog Enterprises is announcing a voluntary recall of "My Pal Scout" Electronic Plush Toy Dogs.
The decals on the feet of the plush toy can be removed, which represents a choking hazard.
This recall involves My Pal Scout, a green and beige electronic dog stuffed with plastic decals on their feet. When the decals are pushed, the dog plays music, speech and shells. "Scout" is printed on the label of the dog in the dog's neck. Measures stuffed dog about 9 inches tall by 9 inches wide. "LeapFrog Ent. Item No. 19142" is printed on the white label attached to the dog and the packaging of the toy. Dogs My Pal Scout with embroidered paws are not included in this recall.
They were sold at Toys "R" Us stores nationwide, and other retail website May 2009 to June 2009 for about $ 20.
