Recall: LeapFrog My Pal Scout electronic plush toy dogs

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of about 3,700 Scout My Pal LeapFrog electronic toy dogs because they bear paws decals can be removed and swallowed by a child, which is a choking hazard.

LeapFrog has received two reports of children removing the decals this toy, including one report of a child eating part of the decal.

"LeapFrog Ent. Item No. 19142" is printed on the white label attached to the dog and the packaging of the toy.

My Pal dogs Scout embroidered patches instead of the feet are not included in this recall.

The toys were sold at Toys "R" Us stores nationwide and on the Internet at www.toysrus.com, www.leapfrog.com and other retail websites in May 2009 to June 2009 for about $ 20.

Consumers should immediately take the toy away from children and contact LeapFrog young to receive a replacement Scout My Pal Foot embroidery instead of decals.
